Started in February 2014, The STL REC's focus has continued to be rebuilding the inner city community through public charitable programs, events & fundraisers. From, Cultural & Spanish to Sports, Student Loan Counseling & Resume building we've found our biggest successes in providing socially needed assistance to help re-develop cultural values in under-developed St. Louis neighborhoods.
Operating exclusively for educational and charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future Federal tax code, the REC’s purpose serves as an infrastructure for members to educate, expose members by creating mentors and enriching the career and job opportunities for at-risk and underprivileged members through international languages, sports, academics, volunteer and leadership programs.
