#PICKsgiving
6 Families were selected in 2017 to be gifted a full Thanksgiving Dinner box on behalf of Transadvantage. Those families were graced with a 15 lb turkey, stuffing, string beans, cookies, pie, dinner rolls, & mac-n-cheese. Due to such a phenomenal turnout our Board of Directors wishes to continue this program Annually.
Never Judge a Book , EBookclub

We believe reading is fundamental, but it should first be FUN-den-MENTAL. This book-club, unlike many is for our members to re-awaken old habits like reading. Using an online forum with Mobile friendly use, we hope to continue this year expanding our readers across the country.

PICKup where you left off in life. Whether considering going back to school, or increasing your chances for a better job with an updated resume, WE CAN HELP! This program offers, student loan counseling, college application assistance, resume building, job search assistance, professionalism & etiquette consulting.
#TeamEPICBasketball Club
For boys aged 10-18, #TeamEpic is the team that follows true to its name. This basketball club, not only serves as an extracurricular activity, but serves as a mentoring program for our boys. Building strong student athletes & offering opportunity, #TeamEpic has been a AAU team for over 6 years.
Women's National Kickball Association
A previous starter program, the WNKA, has traveled and participated in national tournaments. These ladies have practiced & played many months throughout the year to stay active & satisfy community needs.

Esta Clase es para los estudiantes que le gustarian estudiar Espanol.
(This is a class for students who would like to study spanish)
Offered in a 8 week course, this foreign language class is accessible for any of our members interested with a class size of 5 or more.
REC.tify the Hood Community Garden
Currently searching for a plot of land where we can grow veggies & fruits for the community we serve. This garden project will be an extension of Gateway Greening & a push forward to a modernized small community farmer's market to assist with income.
#PICKpacks
Our Famous #PICKpacks are Hygiene packs for whoever needs them. This originated as our homeless campaign, but has now grown larger due to the need for these things. We've provided children under age 10 yrs. & High School aged children as well.

- deodorant
-soap/wipes
-toothbrush
-toothpaste
-inspiring quote for motivation.
#MinezProgram
During last holiday season, we found ourselves in a position to select 5 families to adopt during Christmas. Last holiday, we provided all 5 of those families and their children with gifts & a $25 Aldi Gift-card. Due to generous donors and a hands on team, our Board of Directors has decided to list this as an on-going program moving forward (Annually)
